Founded in 1987 by Joe Steele, Steele Associates Real Estate has been offering consistent, high level service in the Mid-Cape area and across the Cape since conception. Located near historic Route 6A near Cape Cod Bay in East Dennis, we are known for our expertise in beach area and North side sales and quality seasonal rentals. The company has experienced controlled growth and today remains a respected independent firm in an era where personalized service and integrity has given way to larger, number crunching franchises. Steele Associates’ strength lies in our approach to buyers and sellers alike, providing individualized attention to every transaction.
The owner/broker of Steele Associates, Joe was born in New York City and raised in New Jersey. After the Marines, Joe enjoyed over ten years of award winning employment with IBM as an engineer. Meeting the ever changing demands of the computer industry, he joined the sales force of a software/consulting firm and enjoyed success in sales until moving to Cape Cod in 1983. Outside of real estate, Joe has devoted many hours to the local youth hockey organization and was past Chairman of the Board of the Tony Kent Ice Arena.
Also a former IBMer, Lisa’s interpersonal skills and genuine interest in people have earned her the respect of colleagues and the designation of as a Top Producing (top 5% Cape wide) salesperson for many consecutive years. Her dedication and energy enables her to assist others in the office on a daily basis as Office Manager, as well as working with the substantial amount of buyers and sellers referred to her. Lisa is a former Board of Director member of Yarmouth-Dennis Youth Hockey and the Tony Kent Ice Arena.
A Massachusetts native and graduate of Westfield State College, Bob spent over ten years in law enforcement before joining Steele Associates in 1989. Bob’s experience and contacts have enabled him to consistently turn in multi-million dollar sales figures each year. He has lived on Cape for 18+ years and his knowledge of the area is unmatched.
After vacationing on Cape Cod since childhood, Sandy moved here full time from California in 1990. Her experience in working with the public and bookkeeping as a small business owner (moving company), has been a tremendous asset. She has found success here since joining us in 1997 & the many people she has helped buying or selling properties proudly recommend her to friends & associates.
A native Cape Codder, Velia (‘Veil-Ya’) has been a successful small business owner since 1976. This, combined with her life-long knowledge of the area, ensures both buyers and sellers a quality level of service with special attention to individual needs. Originally from the Natick area, Sully has lived on Cape Cod for over 25 years. With two grown children and seven grandchildren, Arthur’s knowledge of the Cape is an asset to all who work with him. An army veteran, retired MBTA supervisor and avid golfer, Sully has been a licensed real estate salesperson for over 20 years in Massachusetts! In short, working with Sully means a rewarding relationship for all.
Hailing originally from Attleboro, Massachusetts, Rich moved to Cape Cod in 1980 following two years in the Army. He and his wife began their own business in 1984 which has flourished ever since. In his off time, Rich enjoys relaxing with his wife and two daughters, golf and his oyster farm in Quivet Neck. Joining Steele Associates in 2007, Richie’s complete knowledge of the Cape’s many areas and his easy going, but “there when you need him” attitude is sure to make your dealings with him a most enjoyable experience!

In addition to being the newest member of the Steele Associates team, Jenny is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and maintains a private law office.
